ACOUSTI-MAT 3

Acousti-Mat 3 is the epitome of sound control for open beam, concrete slab, and conventional wood frame construction. This sound control mat is the solution for sound deadening issues, which until this point have not had a viable solution. Acousti-Mat 3 is comprised of a non-woven fabric attached to a nylon core of fused, entangled filaments which are three times thicker than Acousti-Mat II, allowing for even better sound control. This system increases IIC and STC ratings up to 17 points over wood frame, and IIC up to 25 points or more over concrete.
