The BH Group provides Siplast, Celcore, and Mearlcrete Cellular Insulating Concrete Roof Deck Systems. Cellular lightweight concrete is a mixture of pregenerated foam concentrate, Portland cement, and water. Manufactured on the jobsite, these materials are used to create a closed cell cellular concrete of specific density. Typical dry densities are in the range of 28 to 40 pcf. Cellular concrete provides compressive strengths ranging from 140 to 300 psi at a 2 inch minimum thickness and is used in both new construction and re-roofing applications.
The cellular system offers excellent fire resistance properties and wind uplift ratings. This system can achieve a 2 hour fire ratings as well as wind uplift ratings up to FM 1-120.
